CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR CPAP/BiPAP

Wipe the unit off with a damp cloth once a week.

The mask should be washed everyday in warm water and a mild soap solution.

Do not use Dawn or any other grease cutting detergent.

Rinse the mask in warm water and let it air dry.

Wash the headgear as needed in a mild soap solution and rinse well.

Do not use the clothes washer or dryer for the headgear.

Do not put the mask or any other equipment in the dishwasher.

Do not use any alcohol on any CPAP/BiPAP equipment.

HUMIDIFIER

The humidifier should be washed every other day in warm, mildly soapy water.

Wash the tubing weekly and rinse well.

Soak the humidifier with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and distilled water for 30 minutes each week. Rinse well with warm to hot water unitl the vinegar smell is gone. Let it air dry before refilling with fresh distilled water.
